January’s plea

When Last did you say a happy new month? Over 30 days? Probably last year December when you greeted a friend.

I felt January expressing her thoughts to me and how she felt about humans.

Here’s her story which led to her plea:

It all started on the first day of every month, times families and friends greeted one another. Most especially the first time they meet.

January had 11 siblings, who in their time experienced the same calling by different people. Her 11 siblings were glad, and they all shared this with January at least 11 times in a season.

Then one day, January decided to flare up in anger and complained about how every other person treated her differently from her 11 siblings.

To my amazement, I was shocked and at the same time pained for how January chose to be ignorant about how peculiar she was.

She was jealous. Little did she know that she was unique in her way and that her 11 siblings were also envious of her. They realized that they all had their peculiarities, and they chose to bank on it.

Since she hadn’t realized how unique she was, what people said mattered and made her feel belittled.

So, I explained to January. More than she is a month, she is the start of the year. She complains about how in her time, nobody says happy new month. They only say “happy new year,” she said.

😂 😂 😂 I laughed and explained why. Didn’t she see how that the whole world regarded her so unique that they brought together the power of her 11 siblings just in her? No wonder rather than say just one, they combined the power of 11 with her and said happy new year.

Oh! January leaped for joy. Then, I knew she saw how unique she was. She was no longer belittled by the uniqueness of others. She appreciated them but saw how special she was.

She said, ” I am January, the first of the year and not just a month.” 😂 😂 😂 😂

Hey, don’t laugh at me! Those were the conversations in my head, and I decided to put them into writing. The inspiration of the Holy Spirit gives understanding.

This is my way of saying happy new year to you. Remember your worth and grow beyond the shadows of low self-esteem. Little did you know that many her envious of you.
